As AKG49 was leaving Venetian, he found an interesting piece of wood with the following written:

IT IS

THE ONLY PLANET

WITH WINE

He smiled. He remembered his father jokingly said that. That was also the Christmas party where he met Dr. Chang’s wife and granddaughter.

Amy was the one carrying the wine when they walked into his grandfather’s house. Adrian’s father, Bryan, stepped forward and got the wine from her. Amy was wearing a red sweater with a red checkered skirt. The long black boots looked great on her long slender legs.

Grandpa Benny was in the kitchen. He heard them. He came out, still with his apron, and said, “Chang! Come on in. Dinner is almost ready!”

It was one of the memorable Christmas that Adrian had. He was seated next to Amy. There was Dr. Chang and his wife Teresa, his grandpa Benny, his father Bryan and mother Mona. At thirteen, Adrian was shy. He did not know how to talk to Amy. He just kept glancing at her. What caught his attention was her blue eyes.

“This is a beautiful day. I am really happy to see everyone here!” Grandpa raised his wine glass and said, “To friendship and health!”

The adults raised the wine glasses and cheered. Adrian and Amy raised their water filled glasses and cheered too.
