Just when AKG49 was about to call it a day, he noticed the jade pendant on the table. The ceiling light was shining on it directly and it reflected a map. AKG49 took a closer look at the map. It was the strip with many lines connecting each casino. Excited, he used his microscope vision and zoomed in.

“Dr. Chang was brilliant! He just secretly showed me the underground world of Las Vegas strip!”

Using his built in camera, he took a copy of the map.

“This is great!” He thought. “An underground world. No wonder I haven’t seen anyone in the last year. All activities went under ground. If Mrs. Chang and Amy were converted to robots, they must be in the underground world. Then, who else were there? What would it be like? Were there more robots?”

He looked at the map again. It showed the strip from Stratosphere to Mandalay Bay. There were three X marks. One on Stratosphere, one on Mandalay Bay and another one on Venetian.

“Yes! That’s it! What I saw was one of the entrances to the underground world. It must be somewhere inside the old Carlos’ Bakery!”

AKG49 was excited. He knew what to do the next day. He went to the power source, plugged himself, and pressed the rest button.
