AKG49 headed north and got to Venetian. It once had the
canal filled with water and gondola floating. Tourist would ride in those
gondola and imagine that they were in Venice. Now it was just a canal filled
with debris. The once cream colored façade also faded. Everything was just dark
and dirty. It was more like a haunted house. AKG49 could see the human remains
here and there.
As he followed the canal, he saw something moving ahead of
him. He activated his telescope and zoom in. The object moved so fast that all
he saw was the disappearing shadow. He was excited. After one whole year,
finally, he saw something moving. There was hope.
He turned on his radar and scanned the area. He was right. There
was something moving northeast of him. AKG49 locked in the object and followed
it. The object moved through the maze of the casino shopping area. AKG49
followed.
It finally stopped at the old Carlos’ Bakery. He had been
there before. The cheesecake was expensive but really good. When he got there,
the store was empty. The metal rail at the door front was down. AKG49 turned on
the flash light from the top of his head. He looked around. Nothing. All that
was left of the store was just those damaged showcases. There were a few boxes
scattered around.
“The place was relatively clean compared to the other
stores.” He thought.
